Animals on the Bay Day is made possible by the County of San Diego Community Enhancement Program.

“We appreciate the support of the County of San Diego and our community partners who make this special low-cost event possible,” said Living Coast Executive Director Ben Vallejos. “San Diego Bay is home to so much incredible wildlife, from sea turtles and leopard sharks, to shorebirds and raptors, to snakes and opossums. By getting up-close and personal with our animal ambassadors, guests can gain a whole new appreciation for the natural world that surrounds us every day.”

In keeping with its mission, the Living Coast is encouraging guests to utilize public transportation to the event. A complimentary shuttle will pick up guests at the E Street trolley station every 30 minutes and transport them directly to the Living Coast.
