The Futbol Factory Opens 28,000-Square-Foot Futbol/Soccer Training Facility in Chula Vista on Sept.

CHULA VISTA, CALIF. – The Futbol Factory announced today that it has opened its new 28,000-square-foot indoor futbol/soccer training facility. The facility is the first of its kind in California, with a unique approach that focuses on helping kids, teens and adults master futbol/soccer fundamentals and technical skills that will lead to better performance on the field.

Located at 2390 Boswell Road, Suite 400, in the eastern Chula Vista community of Eastlake, The Futbol Factory was founded with the goal of helping players of all ages to learn and enjoy the beautiful and internationally loved game of “futbol,” also known in the United States as “soccer.”

The center’s unique program has players spend more time with the ball in order to improve their futbol/soccer skills, including passing and receiving, ball control, shooting and other fundamentals. Each coach is specifically trained and certified in the Futbol Factory method and works with individual students to strengthen their technical skills, as well as confidence, attitude and sportsmanship.

The facility features an expansive indoor training field naturally lit with skylights to simulate outdoor play and the best synthetic turf available. The field is set up with a variety of stations, drills and obstacles to hone players’ skills in a fun, safe and challenging environment. Specially designed, custom-made training balls help players develop control and spin, while small training rings enhance mental and physical reaction times.

The Futbol Factory offers daily classes for all ages, interests and skill levels. The program is ideal as an introduction to the game for beginners or as a complement to recreational or competitive futbol/soccer programs for more experienced players. The facility also offers a unique fitness program called Futbolegs, for women (athletes or not) who want to get in shape and sculpt their legs using basic futbol/soccer training skills.

The Futbol Factory was founded by four successful business professionals from San Diego and Mexico who are also futbol enthusiasts. They recognized a need in the community to work with players individually to help them learn the basic fundamentals and technical skills of the game, training often missing from regular team practices due to time constraints, differing player skill levels or personal coaching styles.

The Futbol Factory program allows players to improve their game by spending more time with the ball. Every student is working with a ball during the entire one-hour class. Coaches work with each student on their specific skills and needs, building upon strengths and addressing individual areas of weakness in order to help them become better, more well-rounded players.

The programs are designed to meet the needs of beginners, experienced recreational and competitive players, professional futbol/soccer hopefuls or anyone interested in physical fitness. While The Futbol Factory does not have its own futbol/soccer teams, the center can work with parents, coaches and league managers to help individuals, groups of players or entire teams take their skills to the next level through supplemental training.

The Futbol Factory maintains a consistent approach, a low coach-to-player ratio (with just 10 kids per coach) and a variety of unique training stations to keep skill-building fun, interesting and challenging.

A one-time Futbol Factory membership fee applies, with packages based on the number of classes selected.

At The Futbol Factory, parents have the flexibility to create their own schedule, selecting the days, times and number of classes that work best for their family. Children’s classes (ages four to 16) are offered daily from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Classes for players age 17 and up are offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Futbolegs fitness classes are held daily from 8 a.m. to noon.

More information about The Futbol Factory, including memberships, class schedules, open-play and pick-up game hours, can be found at or by calling (619) 271-3246. The public is welcome to visit the facility daily between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m.
