Xpera CM Announces Completion of New $50 Million Hotel Tower for the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians
SAN DIEGO – Xpera CM, a San Diego-based construction management consulting firm announced today that construction is now complete on a new $50 million hotel tower project at the Viejas Casino and Resort in Alpine, Calif.
Xpera CM was retained by the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians to manage the design and construction of the four-star resort project, which includes a new five-story, 109-room hotel tower, a top-floor technology suite, added gaming floor, specialty bar, ballroom, meeting and board rooms, resort-style pool and extensive multi-use grounds.
Xpera CM provided full-service project management services for the Viejas project, working with the contractor and suppliers to deliver the project 30 days early and under budget. Construction, which began in June 2014, involved the demolition of an existing administration building and reconfiguration of the site to blend with the existing facility.
The project was designed by the San Diego offices of JCJ Architecture, with Swinerton Builders as the general contractor.
Viejas held a grand opening/ribbon-cutting celebration for the new luxury hotel tower on Friday, October 30.
